Hinduja College Launches Its First Dubai Alumni Chapter

Our alumni network has always stretched further than our Worli campus, and on 20th June 2026, that reach became official. In Dubai, as part of a delegation strengthening academic ties with Hult International Business School, Hinduja College launched its very first international Alumni Chapter.

A Trip With Two Purposes

The Dubai visit was originally built around academic collaboration, but our delegation, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Navin M. Punjabi, Dr. Shradha B. Jain, International Programmes Coordinator, and Dr. Antara Sonawane, Chief Coordinator of Integrated Professional Programmes, saw an opportunity to do more while they were there. The result was a milestone moment in the college’s internationalisation journey: a formal, structured home for our growing community of alumni abroad.

A Room Full of Familiar Names, in New Places

Fifteen Dubai-based alumni showed up for the launch, representing an impressively wide spread of industries, logistics and supply chain, real estate, construction, retail, finance, taxation, consulting, HR, digital audit and marketing. Many now hold roles at well-known organisations like The Kanoo Group, Sobha Construction, KPMG, EROS Group and Home Centre (Landmark Group), a clear sign of how far a Hinduja College education has carried our graduates.

New Leadership for a New Chapter

The chapter now has leadership of its own. Mr. Aditya Sudhakar Pawar was introduced as Chairperson, with Mr. Dhruvit Jain as Co-Chairperson, both set to guide alumni engagement and represent the college’s network across the UAE going forward.

Conversations That Turned Into Commitments

Beyond the formalities, the evening was built around genuine, informal conversation. Our delegation spoke directly with alumni about strengthening ties with the college and getting more involved in academic and co-curricular life back home. Those conversations surfaced real opportunities: mentoring current students, supporting internships and placements, deepening industry connections, and backing the college’s international collaborations.

What Came Out of the Evening

One concrete outcome stood out: a structured Alumni Newsletter, created specifically to keep overseas alumni consistently in the loop. Alumni also expressed genuine enthusiasm for getting involved in revamping TEDxHinduja College and Panaah, alongside offering their support for student mentoring, career guidance, guest lectures and industry interactions, commitments that go well beyond a one-off reunion.

Building a Global Hinduja Community

This launch is about more than Dubai alone. It reflects a broader vision at Hinduja College: a connected, active global alumni network that strengthens industry-academia ties and opens new doors for current students, wherever our graduates have landed. With a formal chapter now in place, that vision has its first real foothold outside India.

As our international alumni community continues to grow, we’re excited for what this new chapter will bring. Visit Hinduja College to see what’s next.
