The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce continued to
uphold its vision of fostering academic excellence, value-based education, and institutional
development in this academic year. In pursuit of quality enhancement, the IQAC initiated a series of
impactful academic, healthcare, cultural and collaborative activities aimed at strengthening teaching-
learning processes, promoting holistic well-being and enriching the educational environment of the
college. The report below outlines the key events and initiatives that were undertaken by the IQAC Cell
of the college during the span of the year.
A Short-Term Course on 'Research Methods and Techniques' under RUSA
June 3rd June to 8th June, 2024
A Short-Term Course on Research Methods and Techniques was conducted from 3rd June to 8th June
2024. This is an initiative organized under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) and the
Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme, in collaboration with the University of Mumbai, aimed
at enhancing the research acumen of faculty members. This was a week-long short-term course
focusing on various research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and academic writing. Besides,
the course catered to faculty and aspiring researchers from across disciplines. The program provided
participants with practical insights and critical skills in research methodology, data analysis, research
design, data handling, publication ethics and academic writing, which significantly contributed to the
academic output and intellectual engagement of the teaching staff.
NIRF 2025 Data Submission
In another milestone achievement, the college successfully completed and submitted institutional data
for the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025. Under the supervision of IQAC, data
across diverse metrics including teaching-learning outcomes, research productivity, student graduation
rates, and societal impact were collected, verified, and submitted in a timely manner. IQAC facilitated
the accurate and timely submission of data to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for
the 2025 cycle. The comprehensive data collection process encompassed all relevant academic,
research, and infrastructural parameters. This comprehensive exercise reinforced the college’s
commitment to national quality benchmarks and institutional transparency.
