The Honourable Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar’s Address.
Delivering his keynote address with a blend of statesmanship and humour, the Hon’ble Vice President
of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, presented a powerful national perspective on the interlinked roles of
education, cultural values, and corporate responsibility in shaping India’s future. Addressing students,
educators, and industry leaders, he underscored the need for collective participation in nation-
building, emphasizing that education must remain dynamic and inclusive to meet the challenges of a
rapidly changing world.
Speaking directly to students, Shri Dhankhar highlighted India’s youth as its greatest “demographic
dividend,” urging them to embrace continuous learning and personal resilience. Rejecting notions of
academic hierarchy, he reminded students that “there are no back benchers, there are only back
benches,” encouraging them to recognize their inherent potential. Stressing well-being alongside
academic pursuit, he advised young learners to adapt to constant change with confidence and without
stress, reinforcing that learning does not end with formal education.
Extending his message to educators, policymakers, and industry leaders, the Vice President
emphasized the importance of reclaiming India’s civilizational ethos through inclusive Sanatan values
while cautioning against the excessive commercialization of health and education. Positioning
education as the most transformative force for achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, he called for
the creation of new Greenfield institutions in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, quantum
computing, green hydrogen, and 6G technology, urging corporate leaders to view investment in
