Some days stay with you long after the gowns are folded away. For our Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) graduating batch, that day was 24th July 2026, when the Department of Professional Integrated Degree Programmes at Hinduja College organised the Convocation and Degree Distribution Ceremony for the 2024–2025 batch. It was held at 2 pm, with graduates, parents, faculty and guests all gathered to mark the end of one chapter and the start of another.

A Warm Welcome to Begin

The ceremony opened with a traditional welcome for the Chief Guest, Ms. Pooja Gupta, Media Mentor, along with the Principal, Vice Principal, faculty members, graduating students and their proud parents. From the first moments, the atmosphere made it clear that this was more than a formal programme. It was a celebration of years of effort, shared by everyone who had been part of the journey.

Words to Carry Forward

In her address, Ms. Gupta encouraged the graduates to keep learning throughout their lives and to stay resilient when challenges come their way. She also spoke about holding on to integrity, professionalism and compassion as they step into their careers. For a batch about to enter the working world, her message offered a simple set of values to return to.

A Walk Down Memory Lane

One of the most touching moments came with the “Memory Lane” presentation. Specially curated videos brought back classroom moments, academic events, cultural programmes, industrial visits, competitions and everyday campus memories. The room filled with laughter, smiles and a few emotional moments as graduates watched their college years play back in front of them.

Gratitude in Their Own Words

Several graduating students took the stage to share their experiences and thank the people who had supported them. They spoke about the college, their faculty, mentors and non-teaching staff, and about their parents, whose encouragement stood behind every step. Hearing these thanks in the graduates’ own words made the occasion feel personal, and reminded everyone present how many people it takes to help a student reach this point.

The Moment They Were Waiting For

The highlight of the afternoon was the formal conferring of degrees. Each graduate was felicitated and presented with a degree certificate to enthusiastic applause. The smiles on the faces of the graduates and their families said everything about what the moment meant: years of hard work, finally recognised.

Parents in the Audience

Parents attended in good number, and their presence added real warmth to the ceremony. Watching their children receive their degrees, they shared in the pride of the day. For many families, it was a milestone they had looked forward to for a long time.

Thanks and Farewell

The ceremony closed with a vote of thanks to the Chief Guest, management, Principal, faculty, organising committee, staff, students and parents, everyone who helped make the day a success. It was both a celebration of academic achievement and a heartfelt farewell, sending the graduating batch into the next phase of their lives with the values of Hinduja College beside them.
