• A Seminar on pursuing MBA was conducted by T.I.M.E Institute wherein students learnt about the
admission process, CAT exam preparation strategies, college selection criteria and career
opportunities after pursuing an MBA degree. (February 12, 2025)

Field Visits
• A Visit to King George V Memorial Organisation – Old Age Home as part of a social outreach
initiative. During the visit, students interacted with the residents, engaged in heartfelt
conversations, and shared stories. The visit helped foster a sense of empathy and respect for the
elderly among the students. (October 20, 2024)

• A Visit to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) was organised to provide students with practical

insights into the functioning of financial markets and the evolution of the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Fincounts
A BAF Dept. Initiative Fincounts, is a Two-day Departmental activity that includes events such as
Financial Relay, IPL Auction, Stock Market Maze, Talent Showcase and a personality contest. The
activities were uniquely crafted to simulate real-world financial challenges. Emphasizing teamwork and
collaborative problem-solving, the activities provided a platform for students to develop essential skills
like decision-making, budgeting, and resource allocation. (February 3 and 4, 2025)

Students’ Achievements
• Mansuri Ummahanie and Aditya Dhobi from F.Y.BAF was awarded a District Level Certificate for
the Youth Parliament organized by HSNC University, Worli.

• Bhagyesh Khutad from F.Y.BAF won the consolation prize in Poem Writing Competition at the
inter-college level Naandi Fest organized by H.R. College of Commerce and Economics.

• Sanskar Gharat from S.Y.B.AF secured All India Rank 8th in the Cost and Management
Accountant (CMA) Examination – Intermediate Level.

• Nirav Heliya from S.Y.B.AF secured All India Rank 1 and World Rank 4 in the ACCA Tax
Examination as well as All India Rank 2 and World Rank 4 in the ACCA Financial Reporting
Examination.

• Bhargavi Borkar from S.Y.B.AF was awarded as the Player of the Match (female) at the Hinduja
Premier League, organized by the N.S.S Unit of the College. She also secured First Position in the

4x100m Relay at the Annual Sports Day organized by the Gymkhana Committee of the College.
