Hinduja College of Commerce, featuring storyteller
Ms. Alka Pawangdkar who performed a powerful
mono act portraying Dr. Rakhma Bai's struggle against
societal norms to pursue medical education and
reform laws on child marriage and women's education
in India

Seminar on Personality Development for Boys:
November 30, 2024

A Personality Development Seminar specifically
designed for boys, was organized on the college
premises, offering a specialized guidance tailored to
help young men build confidence, improve social skills,
and develop a positive self-image.

Sanitary Pad Distribution: November 30,2024

A Sanitary Pad Distribution Drive was organized on the
college premises, aiming to address the period poverty
and promoting menstrual hygiene among women and
girls while creating opportunities for open discussions
about menstrual health in a supportive environment,
helping to reduce stigma surrounding menstruation.

Seminar on Menstrual Hygiene:
November 30, 2024

An informative seminar on menstrual hygiene to
educate participants about proper menstrual health
practices and dispel common myths surrounding
menstruation. The session covered essential topics
including the importance of using appropriate
menstrual products, maintaining personal hygiene
during periods, and addressing the social stigma
associated with menstruation to promote healthier
attitudes and practices.
