        Linked in Optimization Session

        The FYBAF + CMA department successfully conducted an insightful Linked In Optimization Session as
        part of its academic and professional development activities for the year 2024-25. The session was led
        by Syed Jafri from ICA, who provided valuable guidance on building a strong Linked In presence and
        leveraging the platform for career growth.


        The session covered key aspects of LinkedIn profile optimization, including:


        1.    Creating a Professional Profile   – Tips on writing an impactful headline, summary, and experience
               section.
        2.    Building a Strong Network      – Strategies for connecting with industry professionals, recruiters, and
               alumni.
        3.    Content Engagement       – Understanding how to share posts, articles, and achievements to increase
               visibility.
        4.    Job and Internship Search     – Using LinkedIn’s job portal and networking features to explore career
               opportunities.
        5.    Personal Branding     – Showcasing skills, certifications, and endorsements to stand out to potential
               employers.


        Technology and Analytics Session


        An insightful session on Technology and Analytics was led by Ms Vaibhavi Shah who provided valuable
        insights into how global companies leverage technology, data, and analytics for business growth and
        decision-making.


        As part of this session, students were given six case study topics      to explore real-world applications of
        technology and analytics:


        1.    D-Mart's Inventory Management        – Understanding how D-Mart optimizes its inventory to minimize
              costs and maximize efficiency.
        2.    Netflix's  Recommendation  Engine         –  Exploring  how  Netflix  uses  data  analytics  and  AI  to
              personalize content recommendations.
        3.    Nike's Supply Chain Management        – Analyzing how Nike leverages technology for a seamless and
              efficient global supply chain.
        4.    Google's Data-Driven Decision Making          – Examining how Google uses data analytics to make
              strategic business decisions.
        5.    Instagram's Algorithm      – Understanding the functioning of Instagram’s algorithm and how it
              enhances user engagement.
        6.    Amazon's  ERP  System       –  Evaluating  Amazon’s  use  of  Enterprise  Resource  Planning  (ERP)  to
              streamline operations.
