Investisiya’ 24

On October 16, 2024 to commemorate ‘World Investor Week’, the Department, in collaboration with
NKES Degree College of Arts, Commerce and Science, BSE, ANMI, and NISM organized "Investisiya," -
a seminar focused on enhancing financial awareness and encouraging smart investment strategies
among students.

The event welcomed participants from hundred and one colleges and provided a valuable platform to
hear from prominent industry leaders. To engage the student and cultivate a spirit of healthy
competition and creative expression, the seminar incorporated a diverse range of interactive events.
Among the highlights was a thought-provoking street play that conveyed financial concepts, with Mr.
Ayush Rawat and team participating and representing our college, a catchy and informative rap song,
presented by Mr. Ayman Panjwani and a dynamic reel making competition that challenged students to
produce concise and engaging video content on financial themes. The BFM department excelled in the
reel making competition, securing first place. Ms. Bhoomi Sachdev accepted the award on their behalf.

Adding another layer of success to the event was Ms. Alisha Vakil, who skillfully took on the crucial role
of master of ceremonies. Her articulate and engaging presence ensured the smooth flow of the
seminar, seamlessly connecting the various sessions and keeping the audience engaged throughout
the proceedings. Recognizing her significant contribution and commendable performance in
managing the event, Ms. Alisha Vakil was deservedly felicitated.

Cultural and Social Events

1. The BFM Department organized a screening of the movie ‘The Big Bull’ for students on August 26,
2024.
