Karnala Fort Trek: History, Nature, and Resilience

Location: Karnala Fort, Raigad District

In December, 45 enthusiastic students trekked to the majestic Karnala Fort, nestled within a lush bird
sanctuary. This historical fort-once used by the Marathas and the Tughlaqs-provided the backdrop for
an experience that blended history, ecology, and endurance.

From birdwatching and rock trails to heritage discussions and teamwork on steep slopes, students truly
experienced experiential education in the wild.

Pawna Lake Camping: Under the Stars, Beside the Stories

Location: Pawna Lake, Lonavala Region

January brought with it a soulful retreat, where 95 students took part-an overnight camping experience
beside the serene Pawna Lake. Amidst tents, bonfires, and starlit skies, students engaged in team-
building games, open-mic sessions, yoga, and lakeside meditation.
