Orientation Programme

The year commenced with an interesting Orientation Program for the incoming F.Y.B.F.M. students, held
on 31st May, 2023. Principal, Dr. Minu Madlani, after welcoming the students and their parents,
espoused the salient points of the National Education Policy - 2020. Ms. Saira Banoo Shaikh,
Coordinator- Bachelor of Financial Markets (BFM) and other faculty members familiarized the students
about the college rules, attendance, syllabus, structure of examinations, etc.

Certificate Programme

The BFM Department offered the following course:
The BFM Department offered a Certificate Program on Financial Literacy for its students. This initiative
was a collaborative effort - jointly offered by the esteemed National Institute of Securities Markets
(NISM) and the Association of National Exchanges Members of India (ANMI).
The program was thoughtfully designed to provide students with a strong foundation in essential
financial concepts and practices. The program focused on financial literacy to supplement the existing
classroom learning opportunities provided to its students.

Field Visits

Visits organized by the BFM Department:

1. On June 14, 2024, an educational visit to attend a seminar focused on urban cooperative banks
organized by the Maharashtra Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) was held at the
prestigious Yashwantrao Chavan Hall

2. On November 04, 2024, a visit to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) hosted in collaboration with
the IEPFA and NCAER, the program addressed the "Digitalization of Financial Education."
Students attended the workshop which featured talks by the CEOs of BSE and IEPFA and the Joint
