Guest Lectures and Colloquium Organized By Bachelor of Financial Management Department
The BFM Department organizes various guest lectures, inviting industry experts to share their
accumulated knowledge and invaluable insights with students:
1. On July 05, 2024, a career counseling session was organized by the TYBFM students for FYBFM
students to provide guidance about the various professional courses available.
2. On August 30, 2024, an insightful guest lecture featuring Mr. Manaksh Bhanushali – SDG Cell of
Maharashtra Government. The session centered on the critical topic of sustainable development
providing students with valuable perspectives on these important global agendas.
3. On October 9, 2024, students attended a RUSA-sponsored National Webinar on Artificial
Intelligence (AI), with Dr. A Xavier Mahimairaj as the presenter.
4. On October 11, 2024, The Rotaract Club of K. P. B. Hinduja College of Commerce hosted a
"Value Vault" session that offered a unique perspective by weaving in Plato's ‘Allegory of the Cave’.
5. On November 30, 2024, The Rotaract Club of K. P. B. Hinduja College of Commerce organized a
"Value Vault" session focused on ‘Tata - Values Beyond Business’.
6. On January 01, 2025, an introductory session was organized on Master of Business
Administration (MBA) programs by Mr. Monil Shah from FinPlan. This initiative aimed to provide
information and guidance to those considering pursuing an MBA after completing their
undergraduate studies.
7. A Guest Lecture was organized on Indirect tax; addressed Mr. Alok Sudhir Hardik from
Ghanshyamdas Saraf College of Arts and Commerce on March 15, 2025.
8. A Guest Lecture was delivered by Mr. Prasanna Choudhary from Ghanshyamdas Saraf College of
Arts and Commerce on Mutual Fund Management March 15,2025.
9. Mr. Abhijit Bhosale from Viva College of Arts, Commerce & Science delivered a session on Risk
Management on March 17, 2025.
10. Dr. Farhad Fatima from Pillai College of Arts, Commerce &Science delivered a lecture on Venture
Capital & Private Equity on March 17, 2025.
