        •     Interactive Session on Film Reviews


              BAMMC Alumna and film critic Ms. Karishma Jangid conducted a session on ‘From Reel to Review
               – The Art and Business of Film Criticism’. Students explored how to analyse films critically, write
               effective reviews, and understand the business side of film journalism. (September 23, 2024)


        •     Session on Cross-Cultural Advertising


              Ms. Jyoti Adnani, an alumna of the Department conducted a session on ‘Cross-Cultural Analysis
               of Advertising Trends in India and Canada’, offering students valuable insights into how culture
               shapes consumer behaviour and brand communication across borders. (April 5, 2025)

        Value Vault Session


        A Value Vault Session based on the motivational book Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins was conducted
        in association with the Rotaract Club. The session focused on building mental toughness, perseverance,
        and personal discipline, motivating students to push beyond limitations and confidently overcome
        challenges in their personal and academic lives. (January 10, 2025)


        Workshops


        The Art of Cinematography


        An Advanced Workshop on the Art of Cinematography was conducted by Mr. Sunil Gawai, Sony C-Pro
        Expert.  The  workshop  offered  students  extensive  hands-on  exposure  to  professional  camera
        techniques,  lighting  setups,  and  visual  composition,  helping  them  understand  the  technical  and
        creative aspects of cinematography. Through interactive demonstrations and real-world examples,
        students  gained  valuable  insights  into  visual  storytelling  and  industry-level  filmmaking  practices.

        Workshop on Media Production Techniques


        A Workshop on Media Production Techniques was organised at MET, Bandra. It provided students with
        hands-on training in media production allowing them to work directly with contemporary tools and
        techniques.  Alongside  practical  learning,  students  were  introduced  to  the  ethical  considerations
        involved in the responsible use of media technologies. The workshop effectively connected classroom
        learning with real-world industry practices. (February 13, 2025)
