                         Health Camp in Collaboration with “Saarthi Foundation”






        The Alumni Association of K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce in collaboration with the Saarthi

        Foundation, proudly hosted a comprehensive health camp on October 4, 2024,                   from 10:00 AM to
        3:30 PM in the library on the second floor of the college premises.



        This initiative saw enthusiastic participation from the students of K.G. Mittal Ayurveda College, who

        volunteered their services alongside the Saarthi Foundation and the N.K. Dhabar Cancer Institute. The

        health  camp  provided  a  range  of  vital  check-ups,  including  routine  blood  tests,  sugar  level
        assessments, and specialized screenings for neck and mouth cancer, as well as breast cancer for

        women. The event was open to all faculty members, non-teaching staff, current
        students, and alumni, and it attracted a total of approximately 70 participants.



        The camp commenced with a warm welcome from Management Representative -Dr. Minu Madlani

        and I/C Principal-Dr. Chandrakala Joshi, who, along with convenors of Alumni Committee and other
        faculty members, gathered for the official opening. The health checks began with alumni, followed by

        non-teaching staff, teaching faculty, and finally, the current students, ensuring that everyone had the

        opportunity to receive the essential health services.



        Mr. Janak Sanghvi, the founder president of the Hinduja Alumni Association and a key resource person
        for the Saarthi Foundation, played a pivotal role in organizing and coordinating this successful event in

        partnership with the Hinduja Alumni Association of the college. The health camp concluded with the

        last  participant  receiving  their  check-up  at  3:00  PM,  marking  a  day  of  significant  community
        engagement and health awareness.



        Overall, the health camp was a resounding success, reflecting the collaborative spirit of the college

        community and the importance of proactive health management.
