                                      ENGLISH LANGUAGE ASSOCIATION

Echoing the spirit of the proverb, “The pen is mightier than the sword,” and with a mission to nurture a
love for language, literature, and expression, the English Language Association designed a series of

engaging activities to help students embrace challenges with confidence.

The year began with a Letter Writing Competition held on 17th August 2024, where students could
choose between the topics: “A Letter to a Friend” or “A Letter to Mother India.” This event was followed
by a cluster of creative contests, including Handwriting, Calligraphy, Dialogue Writing, and Caption
Writing Competitions on 3rd September 2024. To further encourage thoughtful expression, an Essay

Writing Competition was conducted on 17th September 2024, inviting students to explore and present
their ideas on diverse literary and social themes.

These events witnessed a spontaneous and overwhelming response from students across departments,
showcasing their enthusiasm and passion for the English language. Encouraged by this active

participation, the association went a step further and identified talented individuals to represent the
college in various intercollegiate competitions. These selected students performed commendably,
bringing laurels to the college by winning certificates and recognition in external events.
