Orientation Programme
An Orientation Programme was organized for all the committee members to introduce this year’s team
and to apprise students about the role of Students’ Council and Cultural Committee in the College. A
recap of last year’s activities was presented through a video and upcoming event of the Committee
were discussed. Principal Dr. Chandrakala Joshi exhorted students to organize events which would
stimulate creativity, cultural pride and student engagement on campus. (August 23, 2024).
Comic-Con 2024
The Cultural Committee organized an exciting event ‘Comic Con to celebrate the spirit of friendship
and camaraderie amongst students. Students enthusiastically participated dressed as their favorite
cartoon characters. The event featured a costume parade, interactive activities, and games, making it
an engaging celebration of creativity and fandom. Participants showcased their talent in embodying
iconic characters, concluding the event with a group photo session. (August 28, 2024)
Marathi Attire Day celebrating Ganpati Festival
During the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, the Committee celebrated ‘Marathi Attire Day’. Students and
faculty were dressed in traditional Nauvari and Paithani sarees, and Dhoti-Kurta outfits. The Maha
Aarti, led by the Principal and Conveners amidst enthusiastic chants by the students was the
highlight of the event. Traditional bhajans, cultural activities, and the distribution of Prasad added
to the festive spirit. (September 14, 2024)
Teachers’ Day Celebration
The Students’ Council and Cultural Committee organized a heartfelt Teachers’ Day Celebration to
honor and appreciate the dedication and guidance of their beloved mentors. The event was a perfect
